The World Bank Group and the African Development Bank aim to provide electricity access to 300 million people in Sub-Saharan Africa by 2030. Rwanda alone needs 1.5 billion U.S. Dollars to achieve 100% electricity access. Mini-grid Developers only have access to 2.7% of the required financing.
